For over 50 years, the Visiting Students Program has welcomed grade school classes from the region for week-long stays where students, teachers, and farmers live, work, and learn with each other. We’ve found that students leave the farm at the end of their visit feeling more connected with the earth that provides their food as they encounter new experiences, stretch themselves to learn new skills, and strengthen their bond with classmates and the natural world.
