Wonder Wander Walks: Borden’s Pond Conservation Area
Beginning February 17th, stop by the Borden’s Pond Conservation Area for a self-guided ecology walk and explore the Oak-Maple forest there. Designed and set up by our Farmscape Ecology Team, the tour will help participants see the difference between mature and post-agricultural forests, and give pointers how to identify some of the common trees and shrubs found in Oak-Maple Forest. Stay tuned for Farmscape’s blog and Facebook postings that will detail the self-guided walk, and/or head directly to the conservation area to check it out. This walk is made possible in partnership with the Columbia Land Conservancy. Click here for more information on the Wonder Walker Walks.
