Habitat Exploration Walk at the Shaker Museum North Pasture Trail

This walk corresponds with the From the Taconics book talk at the New Lebanon Library on Thursday, June 27 at 6:30-8pm.

Join the authors for a walk exploring open and forested habitats on the Shaker Museum North Pasture Trail using this newly released book as a guide and resource. Participants will experience several habitats through multiple lenses, including history, culture, sensory immersion, and ecology, and learn how to recognize patterns in the distribution of plants and the animals associated with them.

Copies of From the Hudson to the Taconics will be available to use for the walk, though please bring your own copy if you have one. The books will also be for sale before and after the walk.
